4th-5th December     Durham's Christmas Market 

1 night 2 days. Dinner; bed and breakfast. staying at The Grants Hotel in Harrogate. Departing Stockport around 09.00am we head towards Harrogate for a day of shopping and our overnight stay. Our Hotel is the Grants Hotel which is approximately 5 minutes walk from the town centre. All rooms are en-suite and also offer a hospitality tray,hair dryer and freeview tv and wifi. The Hotel is also affiliated to the Academy Health Club which offers free facilities and a swimming pool and beauty treatments at an extra charge. After Breakfast we depart to Durham to enjoy the Christmas market and a must is a visit to the Cathedral. The Christmas Festival offers cobbled streets,entertainers,reindeers,lantern processions,carol singing in the Cathedral. Also over 150 quality craft, gift and gourmet stalls offering that extra special Christmas gift. Also all the local shops will be open selling their Christmas Fayre. After we have spent up, we will depart Durham around 4pm and start our.
